Nancy's Leadership Background

FROM FARM ROOTS TO BOARDROOMS

I grew up on a farm in Iowa, where I learned the value of hard work, authenticity, and living true to who you are. While I’ve since become a “city girl,” those early roots are woven into everything I do — the grit, the heart, and the deep respect for people and their journeys.

When I was President of Mister Neat’s, I was a Vistage member myself. That experience changed my life. The process of working through big challenges alongside extraordinary people transformed my thinking, my decisions, and ultimately my success. It taught me the power of community, honest conversation, and what happens when leaders are truly seen and heard.

In 2014, I felt a strong pull to step fully into coaching and knew Vistage was my path. I launched my first CEO group and haven’t looked back. Since then, I’ve built additional groups for key executives and inside leadership teams, facilitated over 400 Vistage meetings, and logged more than 3,400 hours coaching leaders to step into their fullest potential.

I’ve called Northern Colorado home since 1984. I’m married to the man of my dreams! I’m the proud mom of three amazing adult kids (two married to incredible women), and the very happy grandmother to two grandkids who light up my world. Outside of coaching, you’ll find me with them, traveling, cooking, reading, at a concert, or journaling about this wild, beautiful life.

At the end of the day, my dream is simple: that we learn to see each other as people — not as labels or categories — and live in a way that’s true to who we really are.
